All of those shows you mention at the beginning of your post are syndicated. Your local CW station was carrying them, but in other markets, they're carried on other local stations. Here in Charlottesville, I don't think the local CW affiliate carries any of those shows.

If, as Jake implied, your station has lost a lot of its syndicated programming, then those programs will likely show up elsewhere in the schedules of other stations.

but not stations i pick up. that's the problem. and my own locals i can pick up are taking off shows i can get and replacing them with Spike-TV failures. I had to get out my old Compaq and a CRT monitor just to replace Frasier. thank goodness it's on Youtube. sheesh what a length just to avoid TMZ.

Aside from that MyNetworkTV issue and the one with RTV, all the major ones are now just all but reality crap and sports. nothing i watch. i've just about got one channel i still use my TV for. the stupid WFIE-DT weather feed. that's all i've turned it on for the last week. i also liked WPSD-DT's weather feed better but i only get that one after 3AM and it's gone at 8:30AM

They don't. And neither does the Pentagon. Those are cable channels. So is DOC: The Documentary Channel although one station in Denver is carrying it on a subchannel and nyctv here in New York cuts into their feed for 3 hours Monday nights, calling it "The Doc Block".

If those are considered sub-channels, then you might as well consider Bravo, CNN, and ESPN sub-channels. When I posted this thread I meant things like This TV, RTV, Universal Sports, IONLife, Qubo, PBS World, etc etc. There's a station in Minnesota that broadcasts The Weather Channel over the air. Does that make The Weather Channel a sub-channel?

And what is KMTP broadcasting? Not NASA. And I don't see anything about KNCT broadcasting The Pentagon Channel either.

KMTP-TV ch33
KNCT

UPDATE: Okay I see I missed Pentagon on KNCT, but where's NASA on KMTP?

NASA is on 32-4. Their website hasn't been updated in forever.
