Was thinking the same thing. I have it here and I've watched it maybe one time in the past 4 years.

Sounds like a problem with the satellite feed.

I was watching an analog station the other day and it was showing the same symptoms as a weak digital channel would with pixilating and artifacts.

Kind of weird seeing that sort of thing on analog.

I used to see that on analog cable too. except it wouldn't say 'no signal' momentarily like my Samsung did a few nights ago. must've been a problem at the transmitter, as nothing was wrong at my end...heck i'm picking up stations more than 100 miles away still and i find it hard to believe that i'd lose one only half that distance...

I also found out that if anyone uses a GSM cellular telephone (such as AT&T/Cingular or T-mobile) that when it occasionally 'phones home' you not only get the infuriating speaker buzz but it can disrupt DTV reception just as much as a windstorm during the whole phase. so unless you like seeing your signal go out every 5-10 minutes, turn off any cell phones during TV time
