Default What's one of the scariest movies you've watched at home?

Since Halloween is just over a month away, what's one of the scariest movies you've watched at home? Can be a horror flick or psychological thriller.

For us, I'd have to say "Alien" ranks at the top. The creepyness of the aliens, sound effects and background noise rock our 5.1 surround sound system.

That's my all time favorite sci-fi movie. Went to see it at the cinema 7 or 8 times. Sick, huh?

But the scariest movie for me was 'The Sixth Sense' with Bruce Willis. That one sent chills down my spine and right back up it again.

I liked Predator (the original one) but it may have been the action/sci-fi vs. the actual 'scare' factor.

I loved Anthony Hopkins in the movie Fracture too.

Also don't forget the scary and a little too gorey Final Destination Trilogy.

One of mine too. I've probably seen it 50-60 times over the years and it's one of those movies I could keep on watching and never get tired of it.

Anthony Hopkins is a great actor. He can play a pretty creepy villan at times.

Try watching any of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies in surround sound with the lights off. Pretty scary stuff man.

Okay, no one is going to answer this, and I'm going to show my age, but as a young girl, The Creature from the Black Lagoon and It Came from Outer Space scared the living daylights out of me.

Have you seen the recent release of Exorcist with added footage? It came out a few years back but they released it in theaters, and this scene (the spider walk) scared the crap out of me.
