Default WZMY-TV Channel 50 in New Hampshire has Completed the Digital Switchover

For all New Hampshire over the air viewers, channel 50 (formerly known as WNDS) WZMY-TV, has completed the digital transition as of today they are broadcasting only in Digital format.

All analog signals have been shut down. Their new channel is 50.1

They are the first channel in the greater boston area to complete the switch.

Wow, that's great, but I wonder why they decided not to continue broadcasting analog signals? Seems like there are quite a few viewers yet that have not converted?

This might answer your question: Welcome to My TV

They have to "know" that choosing not to broadcast both dtv/analog, that they're losing potential viewers. That's not to say that they shouldn't be commended for transitioning to Digital before any other station...just doesn't seem like a good business decision.

They have a weak weak feed transmitting on the analog channel it just says if you are seeing this you message you need a converter box.

I'm not sure when they are gonna put their digital on full power.
