Default Bing 20% CashBack on eBay right now!

    If anybody is interested.

Only works with Buy It Now! with Cashback symbols by them.

You have to sign up to a Bing (Windows Live) account....then Join the Instant CashBack program under Account. If you use the same email address as your eBay account for the Bing then its automatic.

    Go to Bing
    then Shopping
then search for laptop or panasonic or something
20% CashBack eBay shows up on the Right Hand side listings.

Click it. Then search for whatever you want in Buy It Now listings.

This will probably be offerred again before Christmas @ 25% (last year it hit 35%).

You have 40 Lifetime uses with Bing CashBack and eBay. Make em count for large purchases, like Laptops, Cameras, Audio/Video, TVs, Tools, Generators, Fishing Equipment and so on and so forth.

    $200 limit CashBack per purchase.

    Good Luck!

This is for a limited time. It's base is 8%. It fluctuates between 10% and 15% and now 20% for limited times. It will revert back to a lower number soon. But it will probably be back or at a larger 25% (or up to 35%) before Christmas for a limited time.

You have to complete the deal via Paypal (can use Credit Card via Paypal). And it must be done within 60 minutes of the Buy It Now or during the time that the CashBack is at whatever percentage. In other words you cant Buy It Now and lock it in, then pay tommorrow or later.

You get the Cash put into your Bing CashBack account....and can use it from there. Sometimes its Instant or near Instant, and sometimes it takes awhile (sometimes up to 60 days). So make sure that you can cover it.

Word on the street is Walmart is @ 20% Bing Cashback right now too. Guess they had a serious traffic drop.

Its down to 15% right now. But expect it to jump back up to 20% or 25% (or maybe greater) sometime later this week. As we approach D-Day for shipping before Christmas.

Wonder how Bing or eBay does this. It's not like eBay tells the sellers, "We're taking 20% overhead away from your sale".

    Dont understand the question.

A lot of sellers react to this Bing CashBack, by changing Auctions to Buy It Nows, and aslo by increasing the price on Buy It Nows. Those in the know and paying close attention or business eBay retailers anyways....but not all, and a lot are oblivious to the Bing. Cashback is paid by Microsoft. eBay and Paypal seller fees pay for promotional stuff as well.

I guess I was asking who actually pays for the 20% cashback? If it's Microsoft, seems like a pretty steep price for them to pay. How do they benefit?

They are promoting the use and familiarization of Bing. Shopping, advertising, and sales are big business.

Microsoft is the primary payer, no doubt eBay (and Paypal) is also involved.

Looks like they had the 20% cashback for Wal-Mart too but it's back down to 10% now.
