Default Clever marketing or is Mitsubishi going to phase out DLPs?

In regards to television maker, Mitsubishi and it's latest press release...

Quote:
The words “DLP” and “rear-projection” never appear on Wednesday’s press release promoting its latest models.

The words “DLP” and “rear-projection” never appear on Wednesday’s press release promoting its latest models. And on its Web site, the only mention of the rear-projection technology used to power its new 73-inch model is on the specifications page several layers deep.

...Mitsubishi refers to its seven new rear-projection sets as “Home Theater TVs.” And if it’s experience you want, you can’t get a much bigger one than from this company’s offerings.

It'll be interesting to see what happens as new televisions are release. When reading press releases, what is not said can be just as important as what is said. Without referring to DLP or rear-projection, Mitsubishi may be admitting that these are a thing of the past.
