Default Flat Panel TV Makers: Your link to the latest lineups

Pioneer: Pioneer USA - KURO Displays

Notes: Looks like Pioneer just released a new linup of television sets under their Kuro label, and they're sleeker than ever.

Kuro, Adj. Black: Being of the achromatic color of maximum darkness: Origin: Japanese. - Pioneer Website

The press release mentions that Pioneer has increased the darkness by reducing the idle luminance (more noticable in some of the early flat panel television sets) and improving black levels five times over previous KURO models.
