Default Amazon.com offering free Blu-Ray player with purchase of HDTV

Amazon is giving away a Sylvania Blu-ray Disc player and an HDMI cable with the purchas of a quaifying Samsung HDTV here: Amazon.com Message

Offer expires August 10, 2009.

Here's the details:

Quote:
For a limited time, get a Sylvania Blu-ray Disc player and an HDMI cable for free when you buy one of the qualifying Samsung HDTVs below. Simply select an HDTV, a Blu-ray Disc player, and an HDMI cable from the list below; add them to your Shopping Cart; and the cost of the free items will be deducted at checkout. Promotion expires on 11:59 p.m. PST on August 10, 2009. Offer is valid only when eligible items are purchased from Amazon.com and does not apply to purchases made from other merchants on the Amazon.com website. Rules and restrictions apply.

Add all products described in the promotional offer message to your Shopping Cart one of two ways:
a. Via the Add both to Cart button in the promotion description, OR
b. Via the Add to Shopping Cart button on each respective product information page.
The amount of the Best Value savings will be reflected on the final order checkout page and will be allocated proportionally to all participating items in the Shopping Cart, including the Best Value item itself. For example, if the promotion offers $5 off one item worth $10 when you purchase two items worth $20 each, the $5 will be divided proportionately between the three items, so that the Best Value item will appear with a $1 discount, and each of the two other items will appear with a $2 discount.
If you remove any of the participating promotion items from your Shopping Cart or violate any of the terms and conditions listed below, the promotion will be invalid, and the discount will be removed from the order.
If you return any of the items involved in the promotion, the discount previously applied to the order will be subtracted from the return credit.

Well, Sylvania does sell BD players, but mating them with a Samsung HDTV seems incongruous to me.

well, thought it was my mistake at first because I've actually never heard of a Sylvania BD player before.

The link has been completely removed from Amazon's site, so I'm not really sure what happened other than 2 scenarios. One is that they already gave away all of the BD players they had to give, or the other is that they made a mistake.

OK, looks like the Blu-Ray player link is working again. Anybody know what the part # is? All Amazon says is,
