Default 'Roku ready' TV and Roku Streaming Stick

Going to buy a new tv with WiFi but then I saw about the MHL option and 'Roku Ready' which i guess basically means that I'd have to buy the Roku Streaming Stick for use with it? Is this a better option that the Roku 3?

I dont think the Roku Streaming stick is betther than Roku 3.

And you dont have to use a the MHL option, Roku 3 only need a standard HDMI port.

But if you wish to use the Roku stick or any other MHL compliant option in the future, you MUST buy a TV with one or more MHL compliant ports.
