Default The new Sarah Connor

Lena Headly makes a great Sarah Connor. She gives Linda Hamilton a run for her money. The acting is good and her persona makes her a believable mother to John.

I really liked Linda in Terminator 2, the first scene where she's doing pull-ups on her bunk bed...I remember thinking to myself, jeez.....I wouldn't ever want to make her angry in person!

Lena is great too, I didn't have much in the way of expectations for script and action for the TV series, but it's actually good.

I'm a huge fan of the Terminator series on the big screen but I've been avoiding this one from all the negative reviews I've read of it. Looking at a few Lena's pics, I might give this one a try if only to erase any memories I have of Terminator III.

I think that I can watch any terminator movie or series spinoff as long as it doesn't have Arnold in it. No offense, but his character as played by Arnold has almost become a joke and that takes away from the story line.

I watched it last night for the first time, and I must say I was really impressed. I didn't think it would do the movies any justice and I too was reading into all the negative reviews. But it is really quite good. Acting is great and the story line last night was even better. I will 100% tune in again.

I agree with your analysis of the Sarah Connor Chronicles. The acting is superb, and the visuals are almost equal to those in the first two movies.

The only question I have is: will the show's storyline have a clear story arc that leads from T2 to Rise of the Machines, i.e., be true to the notion that Sarah Connor will raise John to be the savior of mankind but die of leukemia, or did that time travel jump into our present (from last season) undo that strand in the tapestry of the Terminator mythology?
