All packages include local channels. Currently you have the option of not subscribing to your locals. That option goes away on 2/1. Effective 2/1, subtract $5.00 ONLY if locals are not available in your area.

All new fees are expected to be officially announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) sometime between Jan. 7 and 10, 2010.
So on February 1st, some people will see their price go down a little, some will stay just about the same and some (with multiple receivers on the account) will see an increase.
I have a ViP722 (primary) and a ViP211. It looks like my bill will increase by 2 cents. The DVR fee will go from $5.98 to $6.00.
