Default Taking down the old antenna

I plan to replace my old TV antenna very soon. I was thinking of selling it for scrap metal or something. The thing is useless. I wonder how much it weighs. It's just an average antenna.

It would not really be worth taking it to a recycling facility if it is more than a few miles away, as it would not bring enough to pay for the gas you would use. Are you giving up on digital reception, or having problems with it. I was just wondering why you called it "Useless" ?

Now here's a picture of an antenna that would bring something for scrap...and that is the one on top of the tower that is the old analog antenna that is now useless scrap, but it will likely take $50,000 to get it removed. Now that's an antenna worth scrapping.

    Default Trips favorite antenna

Here is a picture I took of Trips favorite antenna all dressed up for winter with "NO WHERE TO GO" due to the high VSWR. (See Previous picture)
That messy looking antenna array is for channel 3 digital, which is barely receivable most anywhere as it is.

Old antennas make a great source of parts for building NEW antennas!

It's useless because it's broken. Should I try selling it for parts on Craigs List? That could be easier than hulling it away. Let someone else do it.
