NBC Universal use to supply programming for the Retro Television Network until contract negotiations fell through last June. It'll be good to see some of those shows back on the air again.

I currently have no MeTV affiliate, but I've been thinking...

Channel 5 KSL (NBC) will be losing NBC US as a subchannel when their contract is up. They'll need a subchannel.

KCSG (St George, UT) is Utah's MeTV affiliate. They've been looking to get into the Salt lake market on someone's subchannel.

KSL and KCSG already have a news sharing arrangement.

Add it all up... and it make sense.

KSL has also talked about adding Mobile DTV, so don't get your hopes up.

Trip, why u crush my dreams?!!!?

MDTV is nice, but cell companies are not going to let their users watch TV for free, so it won't make it into enough -if any- cell phones to reach critical mass (the point where customers start demanding it, "I WANT MY MDTV" ).

And it will just be a simulcast of KSL 5 anyway.
