Default Silicone around the transformer case?

I just bought the hdb91x and before I put it up I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put silicone around the open areas of the transformer case. Where the dipoles come out of the case and curve up it makes a perfect path for water to run inside of the case. I noticed it has holes in the bottom of the transfomer case I would assume for water drainage, but I think putting silicone around it would be better. Any advice from you guys and gals would be appreciated.

No, you want water to have a way to drain out and/or evaporate. If you seal the unit up chances are you will encourage humidity to accumulate and ruin the electronics.
