Default No Starz on Demand

I don't know if this applies to Time Warner everywhere, but our local Time Warner does not offer Starz on Demand because Starz refuses to give it as a free service like that other premium channels do if you are a subscriber. Does anyone have this problem? I probably wouldn't pay for it anyways, but it would be cool to have that option just in case.

We don't have Time Warner in our area but I bet if you could get Starz on Demand it would probably be pretty expensive. We don't have that on our service. As long as I got the Outdoors Channel I am good to go!

Perhaps you should email Starzs and let them know just exactly what you think of them and their greed. I watch most of my movies from a Netflix subscription so while I feel your pain, I'm not that sorry for you as there are other options out there for you.

I would contact them too about that. I don't see why they are different from the other premium companies that they would charge for on-demand.

Gee, thanks for those "kind" words Taki, but I'm not that sorry for myself either. I just think it would have been cool to have it but if not then no biggie. As far as other options, I'm all good, but thanks for the mention. I am perfectly fine with my HBO and Cinemax on Demand.

After doing some research, I see that there have been thousands upon thousands of complaints and questions about getting Starz on Demand in our area, but Time Warner will not budge on letting the customers who subscribe to Starz have it free, and Starz won't budge on making people pay an extra fee for their On Demand services.

Timewarner did have Starz at one time, oh well, things change. Optimum Online has all the channels; not that I subscribe to them, but its nice to know if I want to they are there. They also have Starz on Demand.

What is Optimum Online? Not trying to jump off subject, but is that something like a internet cable tv subscription?
