i know windgard and channel master make good antenna's but is there anything better in same price range as say a windgard hd7084p for long range I might add

I live on the co utah border and i need to know what is the best setup the receive my favorite channels like cbs nbc abc with my dtv convert i get them most of them but signal sucks like 25 to 30% but 4-1 is 100% 4-2 on my converter box is 40% but on my directv box setup with ota setup i get 0%...
