The 2014 Selection Sunday Show by CBS is set to air on March 16th at 6PM EST or 3PM Pacific Standard Time. The show will include the first announcement of the matchups, seeds, and schedule for the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. The Florida Gators are expected to be the overall #1 seed for this year’s tournament independent of the results of the 2014 SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament. Other favorites to land a #1 seed during the Selection Sunday broadcast include Wichita State, Michigan, and the Arizona Wildcats.

Participating in the Warren Buffet Sponsored ‘Billion Dollar Challenge’

Every season sees a large number of NCAA Tournament bracket contests available through popular sports sites such as ESPN, Fox Sports, and Yahoo. For 2014, Buffet has teamed up with Quicken Loans and Yahoo Sports to offer 15 million sports fans a chance to win a billion dollars for the person who can choose a perfect NCAA Tournament bracket. The odds of randomly picking a perfect bracket without any basketball knowledge is roughly one in 9,223,372,036,854,775,808. Fans can improve on their odds by employing some basic bracketology rules such as the fact that no #16 seed has defeated a #1 seed in the history of the tournament. Your odds at winning the challenge can be improved to roughly 128 billion to one by applying basic basketball knowledge to your bracket challenge entry.

How Do You Enter the Billion Dollar Challenge?

First, there are only 15 million entries permitted for the challenge.
