Amazon cloud player ...

I use Adobe Creative Cloud for video production. The software resides on my PC. I also use Dropbox to share files. I don't know if I trust the cloud with personal stuff.

I don't pay for things that reside ONLY online. I really hate when a DVD comes with a "digital copy" but they are really just giving you access to it online at Ultraviolet. The only stuff I have paid for that is online is something I actually "own" in real life.

There are a lot of situations where I can't be connected - off the beaten path, or when the connection goes down. Or what if the company goes under, or loses the rights? Same with video games - I won't download a game if I can't have it anywhere, or put it on another machine, or sell it. Then I really don't own it, do I?
