Ann B. Davis, "Alice" From TV's Brady Bunch, Passes Away At Age 88.

View attachment 3232 Ann B. Davis, who played Alice the housekeeper on "The Brady Bunch," has died at a San Antonio hospital. She was 88 years old. Medical examiner's investigator Sara Horne says Davis died Sunday. No cause of death is available and an autopsy is planned for Monday. A friend of Davis says she suffered a fall Saturday at her San Antonio home and never recovered.

"The Brady Bunch" debuted in 1969 and aired for five years, with Ann B.Davis as Alice Nelson, the housekeeper for the blended sitcom family. Davis later appeared in several Brady spinoffs and sequels. In the 1950s, Davis also played secretary Charmaine "Schultzy" Schultz on early TV sitcom, "The Bob Cummings Show", for which she was awarded her two Emmys. On February 9, 1960, Davis received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
