App won't connect to the DVR - DirecTV

The directv app won't connect to the DVR. It worked good for the first month but now it says it can't find my DVR. Have spent many hours talking to technical support trying everything to fix it but it wont work. Finally got them to say that the app has a glitch. That was 10 days ago and it still doesn't work. When are you going to get it fixed?
