Arcade

I was so excited that we had an arcade, to play and relieve stress. Today, I tried to play a game and was told;
The administrator has disabled playing games for your usergroup.

What did I do? Did I do something wrong. Oh, how shall I ever survive knowing there is an arcade and I can't get into it. :( Seriously though, is there now a minimum post requirement to be able to access the arcade or have I actually been banned from it. ;)

Never mind. I was just told by Admin that everyone should have access to the arcade. So, there is a slight glitch in the system that will be fixed momentarily. Whew, that was close.

Haha thanks AC for letting me know about it!

It's up now, we've got 16 games, with plans to add about 10-20 more in the next week or two.

All registered users can access the arcade by clicking on the link located next to your User CP (User Control Panel) or by clicking here.

Oh cool, you have an arcade here. Man, I just love playing games on my computer, when I can get away with it. You ever get caught at work, playing cards on the company computer or maybe a game of Galaga? :eek:

Hey, has everybody tried out DTV USA's arcade? They have 16 games listed at the moment. What are some of your favorite arcades that you like to play on the forum? Do you have some games you would like to see added to our arcade, if possible?

Some of the games I personally would like to see added would be Concentration, Concentrate Plus, Galagia, Mrs. Pacman, Pacman, Centipede, Card games-canasta, spades, hearts and Texas Hold em just to name a few.

I'll see what I can dig up this weekend. :D

I believe Leighdu held that record for sometime, haha.

Well, if we are making suggestions I like Chinese Checkers, Checkers, Chess, Battleship and any of the television games; Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Deal or No Deal, The Weakest Link, etc. Basically anything that is available that I don't have to move very fast. ;)

Yeah, we have noticed. :eek: I am so impressed, really I am. I would love to know your secret. You must be very coordinated with your eyes and hands. I just can't seem to move that fast. I have tried, but alas I may never have your gift. But, I'll keep trying. :D

I'd love to see Diamond Mine (I think that's what it's called) where you flip the positions of gems and try to line them up 3 or 4 in a row.

Believe it or not, Tetris is the only game that I can play on the original Nintendo system. My hand/eye coordination is not really all great.
Part of the secret of Tetris is just knowing all the various ways that the pieces can fit together and move them VERY quickly as they are falling. If you can fill the rows and keep them from getting too high, you have a better chance of getting a higher score.

Cool, thanks Jay. We appreciate all you do. Yay, everybody we are getting more games!!! That snookers game looks like pool, I wonder if I can handle it? I guess I had better get over to the arcade and try them out, before someone who is actually good at them discovers they are there.
