I think the Asrock ION 330 is an excellent machine to use as an HTPC and you lucky blighters in the US can get a version with a Blu-Ray drive as standard!

Seriously - I think it's a good box for this purpose. I'm sure somebody will disagree.

Yeah with the ION chipset it should be good to go...I have the same processor in my NAS but the regular atom chipset isn't good enough to display decent 480p let alone 720p or 1080p.
