AT&T is the worst company I've worked with in a long time - DirecTV

If Directv & AT&T are connected then why do they have two separate amounts for my bill? Directv has the correct info but at&t can't seem to get even one bill straight. It's off by over $200 and they want me to call every month to correct the bill instead of them correcting it. What kind of company can't get a bill straight and has the customer doing their job? AT&T is a backwards company. I honestly HATE having to deal with them but unfortunately where I live there are no other companies.
