Even with the new ATSC 3.0 system most if not all the stations will use 1080i/p HDR (No costly station upgrade to 4K and only have the HDR upgrade) for local news and programing. Any programs in 4k HDR will be from local 4KDT productions and from the networks. The ability to do more with the TV signal is the biggest gain&nbsp; with ASTC 3.0 and many of stations will use ATSC 3.0 for data, ems and mobile streaming along with there TV broadcast. The other big benefit is better TV signal lock at longer distances and you should be able get those weaker stations with the ATSC 3.0 system.[/QUOTE]
