Avermedia M791-B PCIe tuner card- anyone using one?

Hmm, I've never heard of Avermdia before. I use the Hauppauge WinTV HVR-950Q and it works great for me, was about $80 from what I remember but that was about a year ago.

I own several AverMedia receivers. I'm not thrilled with them, particularly due to the lousy signal meter, but the price was right and they work well so long as you're not trying to pick up very weak signals on the edge of decoding.

I don't own that particular model though, so who knows if my complaints are valid with regard to the one linked.

I have an avermedia hd duet. It's not bad at all. Dual tuner atsc/qam (no analog). Works well in my media center.

The card you linked is not a dual digital tuner. It is a combo analog and digital. It will be fine for cable but will pick up one analog and one digital only.

i have the hauppauge and I like it except that it has problems when resuming from sleep on windows 7.

yeah I wasn't really interested in it having dual tuners, just that it has a ATSC one. Figured for $20 & free shipping I'd give it a shot.
