Barnes and Noble releases Nook app for video for Android, iOS, and Roku

Barnes and Noble’s new TV streaming service recently released an app for Android, iOS and Roku, which allows users to stream videos to those devices.

Nook tablets have been falling behind their competition, and the company believes that by opening up their streaming services to other devices, interest in Barnes and Noble products will be renewed.

The company has undergone some dramatic changes lately with the departure of CEO William Lynch, and hopes that it’s new TV and movie watching service catches the attention of the video streaming crowd. They are calling the service Nook Video, and it will now be available to mobile and TV streaming.
