Can I upgrade my EPG?

I bought a Phillips LCD last year and I wanted to know if I can actually upgrade the program guide on it? Like a firmware upgrade? I don't have the model # with me at work but it's only a year old.

Some have firmware updates available, but most do not. When you get home post back with the model number and with all the techies here at the forum, I'm sure you'll get an answer.

I haven't bought a TV in 4 years, but when the heck did they start adding firmware upgrade capability to TVs?? I'm out of the loop man! op2:

Well think again. Like I stated in my first post

It's done through the USB port on the back of modern HDTVs.
