Comcast increases speed on $10 per month low income internet plan

Comcast is increasing the amount of low income families that will be able qualify for internet access for only $9.95 per month.

Additionally, they are boosting the speed to download from 3 megabits per second to 5 megabits per second. The low income plan is a huge discount from the regular price of approximately $50 per month, which consumers can qualify for if they have children who receive subsidies for free lunches.
