Confused Tech Support - DirecTV

I chatted with Nick G this evening about my UVerse system rebooting itself. I was transferred to someone else who called without being told I was being transferred. The after a 15 min hold, I got a different person who was no help at all. I just wanted to know if ATT reset my system remotely. We were watching TV when all the services rebooted with an message on the TV of " Network Settings have changed. System will reset in 2 hours and some minutes" when I asked what this meant, the tech who didnt speak very good english kept repeating what I was asking him. I still do not know if ATT reset it or someone tried to hack my system. I am concerned and considering switching back to TWC.
