CONSTANT DROP OUTS ON ARRIS SBG6580 - Time Warner Internet

This question is about "CONSTANT DROP OUTS ON ARRIS SBG6580", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. i've had this modem for the last few months and it has never worked right. I bought it to replace the rental from TWC, which also had constant dropouts. I think it has to be somewhere upstream. The modem reboots and tries to reconnect 5-10 times a day. I have to unplug it and reboot it every time. I live in a very large and very old apartment complex and want to get a tech out here to check it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
