Constant internet disruptions - Time Warner Internet

This question is about "Constant internet disruptions", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. I've been experiencing this issue for the last 6 months minimum. I have gone through several routers and 2 modems and get the feeling im throwing money in the wrong direction. Originally time warner never grounded the coax coming into the house which apparently fried 2 routers, dont ask if this was the real casue because i dont know.

When i first started experiencing internet dropouts, it was maybe once a month. Im now at 3-4 times a week, whihc results in having to unplug modem and router. I have a SB6190 and an Asus AC3100. Firmware on router is most recent.
I am at a complete loss. I have a tech coming Friday to look but they didnt find anything last time they were here.
