converter box won't turn back on

Dreaded green blinking light and unit shutting off after. Few seconds

My Magnovox SDTV was shutting off after a few seconds too. I was using a universal remote, once I used the remote that came with the unit, it did not shut off.

hah so i was goint though the stings on the dt box and I clicked some thing and know it wont turn on

Insignia DT Tuner NS-DXA (mfgd 3/08) Will not turn off. TV has blue lines across the screen. Cannot change channels. Basically tuner is on permanently to one channel, puts blue lines across the screen and will not respond to remote. HELP!

Here are some helpful questions and answers regarding the Insignia DT Turner. It seems as though this is a connection issue.
Reception can vary by channel, depending on the location and broadcast power level of a given station.
Make sure your antenna is connected securely to both the converter box and the TV.

Mine box was working fine then power went out for couple minutes then back on, the light is on the converter box but the tv is snowy and has no signal at top,I tried unplugging box and waiting 30 seconds and plugging it back in,ti reset it but that didnt work either...I have no patience and I'm getting irritated with ot,can someone please help
