Device limit for Netflix?

At one time Netflix tried to limit connections from a single user to just one at a time but according to this article from Time they're allowing for customers to connect up to 2 devices now.

I've connected 2 before and never had a problem.

Actually Netflix still says they only allow 1 connection at a time if you're on the streaming only or 1-disc plan.

I don't think they enforce it though.

Right now, I am watching a Netflix video while the kids are watching another. My eldest daughter is on my Netflix account with her Kindle Fire 2000 miles away - so I can confirm 3 devices.

However, I have heard reports that some others have more - and some have less - devices, so YMMV "your mileage may vary".
