Anyone hear the Tony Scott suicide yet?

On Sunday afternoon Scott, 68, parked his car at the crest of the Vincent Thomas suspension bridge in San Pedro, scaled a towering 18-foot barrier fence and — as witnesses looked on in horror — jumped some 185 feet to his death in Los Angeles Harbor.

So weird, apparently ABC News reported that he had brain cancer, but family members have said that there were no such health issues.

Just crazy. I saw that on AVSForum and a few of the members there had concluded that he had brain cancer, but apparently not now. I was also shocked to hear that his brother is Ridley Scott. Both he and his brother have made some great blockbusters (and some crappy ones too). It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
