DirecTV app works just fine on my iphone, but on my ipad I get errors after I select

DirecTV app works fine on my iphone, but on my ipad (AIR2) everything loads, I select a channel to watch, "optimizing video quality", then I get error (2100) telling me to "Please check your network connection and try again". When I select channels 206, 207, 208, and 209 to watch they start right up. When I try trouble shooting, and "register this ipad" I get "activating your DVR" then comes up "we couldn't activate your DVR for downloading and streaming, Please try again (100). I go to Settings, "System Info (I get new window with this info) Network Assistant "Live Streaming - NOT CONNECTED TO RECEIVER". I just got DirecTV about a month ago. Never had a problem with this ipad before with the DirecTV app on old router. All channels work fine on my 2 iphones.
