FCC tees up broadcast-free May meeting agenda

From rbr.com:

It’s all tentative, ladies and gentlemen, and once again, the FCC topic slate for its Open Meeting on 5/12/11 has nothing – and we mean nothing – of interest for broadcasters. If you are of the opinion that no news is good news, then this will be the FCC meeting for you.

One of the planks adds outage reporting requirements to providers of voice over the internet and broadband. The other two pertain to international telephone traffic. Snooze.

Here is the total package for the date – this is the last you need to think about it. We’ll let you know if the broadcast action will pick up in June, a little further down the road.
