Fox adds dramas 'Rake', 'Sleepy Hollow', 'Gang Related', and 'Almost Human' to lineup

The Fox Network announced this week that it is adding four new shows to its 2013-2014 television season, including one with Greg Kinnear.

View attachment 2328 Kinnear stars in 'Rake', a show originally from Australia. It is a legal drama wherein criminal defense attorney Keegan Deane (Kinnear) uses his skill and charm to help defendants who appear to be beyond redemption. His clients often remind him of himself as Deane is described as one with self-destructive tendencies.

Another entry is 'Sleepy Hollow', an action/adventure tale with a sci-fi twist attached to it. The plot surrounds a resurrected Ichabod Crane transported two-plus centuries later into a strange modern world where he is the last hope of humanity to survive. Tim Mison stars along with Nicole Beharie.

'Gang Related' is another newcomer to the Fox schedule. It focuses on a police task force that tries to take down three of the most dangerous gangs in Los Angeles. The action program stars Terry O'Quinn, Ramon Rodriguez, and Rza.

Finally, Fox added 'Almost Human', though the title is subject to change. The show takes place 35 years in the future and revolves around policemen who are paired with androids. One such team is comprised of an officer who doesn't particularly like the androids and an android who is more emotional responses than the others. The show stars Karl Urban, Michael Ealy, and Lili Taylor.
