Genie keeps losing its internet connection - DirecTV

Hello, my main whole home DVR keeps dropping its internet connection. If I try to reconnect, it will connect successfully sometimes, but not others. Even when it does connect, it drops again within a few minutes. If I reset the DVR it automatically connects, but drops again within a few minutes. All other devices in my home are working fine so I know it isn't my internet service. I have tried repeatedly to get a service call scheduled and have had no luck getting that handled via phone. Outside of that, does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks!

Have you considered switching to Xfinity internet http://www.xfinitybundledeals.com ? They are frequently cited for both reliable speed and a reliable signal. What a lame answer to your question. When looking for help with something, which is usually a connection, you get a sales pitch instead, and to top it off, 6 days ago, Xfinity's Internet shut down across the entire country.
