I use mine for Xbox games. I have Denon gear and fairly bland old Acoustic Research towers and a Hsu sub. AR is owned by Harmon and has been turned into a wireless speaker division. I sometimes listen to music as stereo, not surround. I remember the fad of surround CDs. Just a gimmick. Then there was that multi-channel thing. What was that SCAD or something? I got a Denon CD player with the capabilities but never bought a CD because they were so expensive and there were none with bands I liked. The whole concept of surround music is weird. When you see a live band the music is definitely face on. You may experience a left or right pan depending on the style of music, venue and audio engineer. But surround? No way.
