Horrible service from Directv - DirecTV

Our directv has been horrible for over two weeks. It locks up and gets pixely several times per hour. We've had to restart the main receiver 5 times in the last two days. We scheduled a repair person and they never showed but told directv we had cancelled the appointment. Now on a holiday weekend with light rain the service people on the phone said we shouldn't expect the service to be back up until the clouds clear. We have never had these problems in 10+ years of directv service. This needs to be fixed or we will be moving on asap.
