How to activate Netflix on TV

When we go to netflix on the tv, the response is to go back to the computer and put in the code that has given us on the screen. We have found nowhere to enter the code. Please help us to resolve this problem. Thank you.

Assuming you already have a Netflix account:

1. Go to your TV and start up the Netflix application.
2. It should give you an option for selecting to activate your existing account.
3. A unique activation code should be displayed. Write that code down.
4. Use your computer and go to: www.netflix.com/activate and enter the activation code.
5. A confirmation screen should tell you that your TV is now ready to view Netflix.
6. Enjoy.

Thomas is right. I just set this process up for my new TV and setup was pretty easy/straight-forward. After I entered the code online the TV immediately opened up Netflix for play without me having to press any buttons or anything, it was a real surprise (the good kind).

If you are an owner of a Xbox, Playstation, or Wii gaming system or a smart TV and are already a member of Netflix.com, all you need to do is go to netflix.com/activate. You have to make sure you get the activation code from whatever game console or smart TV you want to activate. Once you enter the activation code you should be good to go.

Agree, same process that we had to do a awhile back when we shifted from watching Netflix via computer to TV connection to our receiver -> TV. Have had no issues after initial configuration and have had several power outages, etc in that timeframe.

All I did was fill out the information online and then go to netflix on my tv and just put in my information and it worked. Maybe try it that way? If not I would actually either contact netflix through phone, or internet.

Selecting the App on your TV will depend on the type of TV and remote control. If you can share this with us, we can help out some more. My TV remote has arrow keys and a "select" button that we use to pick Apps.
For not knowing your user name, do you have the email that you used to setup the account? If so, then you will be able to use this to recover the name or figure it out.

Just buy a Roku or Google Chromecast.
