How to Register to a Forum

I realize that a lot of DTVUSAForum visitors may not know what a forum is, or how to use one. So to clear up some confusion, I've created this thread to help anyone not familiar with the process of trying to register to a forum. I will also create seperate threads on how to navigate, post on a forum, among other items as well.

Registration
Registering to DTVUSAForum is a quick (2 steps, less than 1 minute) and free process which can be started by clicking here.

Step 1. The first thing you'll see is the disclaimer and forum rules. Please read them carefully, and click the box next to "I have read, and agree to abide by the DTV USA Forum rules.", and then click the "Register" button, if you agree to abide by the rules.

Step 2. The next step brings is the final part of the registration process which will require you to fill a couple of items out on a registration forum.

User Name entry field. Please choose a name carefully, as it will be displayed at the top of every post or thread you make on DTVUSAForum. You may want to choose a nickname or something discreet as to keep your anonymity while posting on this public forum. My user name is: Jay
Password. Choose a password that's easy to remember, and do not share it with anyone. You will need to enter your password twice, once under Password: and once under Confirm Password:
Email Address. This one is pretty simple, and just like your password, you'll need to enter your email address twice.
Random Question: A random question is asked to confirm your identity as a human being. It sounds funny, but there are a lot of spammers and robots that attempt to join this forum and abuse it by posting advertisements.
Time Zone. You can change this setting to your time zone which will adjust all posts and threads on the forum to your time zone. Setting the Time Zone option is not mandatory, so you may skip past this part if you want.

Click the "Complete Registration Button" and you're done! You've just completed the registration process for DTV USA Forum, congratulations. :D

My plan is to use this post as a guide (and place a link to it on the registration page), because a lot of our visitors (as opposed to most forums) have never seen a forum before.
