i disabled ipv6... am just going to stick to ipv4 on the LAN - Time Warner Internet

This question is about "i disabled ipv6... am just going to stick to ipv4 on the LAN", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. Pinging an IPv6 address is twice as long as an ipv4 address, theres no public ipv6 for my device, and since spectrum would rather support ipv6 between cable modem/router and internet, im fine with that since my intranet can use ipv4. Thats my take on ipv6, I think its unnecessary for LAN Devices, since spectrum doesnt fully support ipv6. Its faster to just be on one protocol than for it to fall back to ipv4 often, even when using an ipv6 dns server. So my router/cable modem will use IPv6 supposedly and my LAN will use IPv4

i disabled ipv6... am just going to stick to ipv4 on the LAN?
