I just tried to downgrade my account from Digital Preferred to Digital Starter via Customer Service chat.

All the customer service representative would do is offer me upgrade packages that would eventually cost me more money.

The chat ended with the customer service representative refusing to downgrade my account as requested.

And that was after I indicated it was downgrade by me tonight or a cancellation by my wife tomorrow.

My wife is fed up with the bill going over 200 this month and said lower it or AT&T was next.
