Evaluation: John Oliver on Net Neutrality

As I'm sure you've heard (especially those snarks and trolls amongst you) John Oliver's Last Week Tonight did a segment on the 'net neutrality' legislation and its protestors. Here it is:


I think this is brilliant and hilariously funny, despite the content making me want to cry copiously about the state of our media. What do you think of this issue and the way Oliver handled it?
It's interesting how TV representations of US government seem to avoid the very obvious fact that they are at the beck and call of business. I've only seen it in Veep and the Oliver/Stewart/Colbert satires. The West Wing would have you believe otherwise. May I also add this wonderful segment?:
