Just cancelled after 5 years because of this crappy app. - DirecTV

After 5 years of service this is the last straw. Almost 3 years of working with all the various ways of using Directv remotely, this last update is the straw that broke the camel's back. It finally seemed to be working as it should a few months ago and now it's trash again. Lost remote DVR after the update. They supposedly issued an Escallation after the last update and promised contact in 2 to 3 days but its been a week now and nothing. Called and gave them the Escallation number and they say it has been closed. Now today I can't even use it for anything on my DVR and lost all the downloads I had done for my trip. There are too many options out there to continue with this lack of support and high costs.
