The key here is that they say you will get up to 3. 95 hours, . UP TO. Most companies caulaclte battery life based on the computer sitting idle. The second you start using devices like your DVD drive, wireless adapter, GPU etc, the computer needs to use more power, thus the battery life get's used up faster. 1 1/2 hours is not great, but it is not terrible either.
