Hello men. I own the Logitech Harmony 600 remote. It supports five (5) devices but I am using it to control six (6) devices by programming what I call ''phantom'' codes into an "Activity" that requires the control of the sixth (6th) device.
It works well but here is my problemo:
I programmed my antenna converter box buttons to operate on the "Television" device. Now when I want to change inputs from antenna converter to the cable box the 600 thinks that it does not need to change the television input from antenna converter to converter box. It does not even try to send a signal from the remote to the television, I can tell because my IR Repeater does not have any "blinks" other than the other functions, when changing from antenna to cable, which do indeed work. Maybe I need to program my antenna box as a "sixth" device under the category of my DVD Player or my ROKU device. Maybe then the 600 would know that it needs to change inputs in the television when switching from antenna converter box to cable box.
Do any of you kind men have any thoughts relative to a solution? Do you own the 600? Do you like it? Do you use it to control more than five (5) devices and if so how the heck do *you* do it?
Thank you again very much!
Jon
