Lost netflix and youtube - DirecTV

Was told by AT&T that we needed new router. Installed and router following instructions( very easy to follow). Changed WiFi codes on computer and cell phones and tablets with no problems but can't log onto Netflix or YouTube on TV now . Both say broadband connection is required but router broadband light is displayed. What to do from here ??
