i just got unsuscribed of directv and was wondering if that device that left in the install the SWM may work for an OTA set up or just have to change by an high quality splitter?

best regards

It probably would work sense the freq range is 2-2150 MHZ. Issue I have with it is rather the DB lose would be more then 3.5 due to the nature of its design and using it for what its not intended for. Also not sure if power pass of the swm will work without power (I think it will.) If their is a reason you need this tested. I have Swm 2 way splitters I could test here for you if you need me to, but my meter to check DB loss is not working well. So I could not give you an accurate reading on DB difference (if any) loss itself .
